Why it exists

A printed map and a guess
was never good enough.

Telling the neighbours is a condition on thousands of approvals every year. Most of it still gets done by walking the street with a highlighter and hoping the line falls in the right place.

The old way

  • Print a map, draw a circle by hand
  • Guess which side of the line a house sits
  • Miss the units at the back of a block
  • No record of who got a notice

With NoticeRadius

  • Pin the site, set the exact distance
  • Every address inside the circle, from G-NAF
  • Units listed one by one, grouped by street
  • A signed report and notices with a verify code

What we care about

Complete. Provable. Private.

Complete

Every address point inside the circle, houses and units alike. If it is in the national address file and inside your distance, it is on the list.

Provable

A signed notification report with the map, the list and a declaration. Each notice carries a code so residents and councils can check it is genuine.

Private

Address points only. No names, no phone numbers, no data brokers. Your own job details stay in your account.

Where the addresses come from

The same address file
the emergency services use.

Every address comes from G-NAF, the Geocoded National Address File, published by Geoscape Australia and released by the Australian Government as open data. It covers every state and territory and is refreshed every quarter.

Read the licence terms and how we use the data on the data and licensing page.

Who is behind it

A small Sydney team
with 20 years on the web.

NoticeRadius is built and run by Faith Computing, the company behind Sites By Design. We have built and looked after websites for Australian businesses for more than twenty years, and we kept hearing the same problem from builders and event clients: working out who to tell, and proving they did.

So we built the tool we wished they had. It is hosted in Australia, supported from Sydney, and answered by a person when you email.
