NoticeRadius now lists NSW DAs and CDCs, updated every morning

New public registers for DAs and fireworks displays, each with a Build the list button, and an API for teams that run NoticeRadius from their own systems.

Most people start NoticeRadius the same way. They have a job address, they know how far out the notice has to go, and they want every letterbox inside that line. From today there is another way in: start from the job itself.

Every NSW DA and CDC from the Planning Portal

The new NSW development applications register pulls in DAs and complying development certificates from the NSW Planning Portal every morning. It holds about 44,000 applications from the last 120 days, each one mapped to its street address.

Search by suburb, postcode, council or application number. Narrow it to demolition, new homes, alterations, pools, subdivision, earthworks or commercial work, and pick the stage you care about: on exhibition, in assessment or decided.

Every row has a Build the list button. Tap it and the tool opens with the site already pinned, so all that is left is the radius. For a CDC that is usually the 20 m neighbour notice, which our NSW notification rules page explains.

ACT, South Australia and the Northern Territory

There are registers for the ACT, taken from the ACT Government’s DA Finder, for South Australia from PlanSA public notices, and for the Northern Territory from Planning Notices Online.

The SA and NT lists show applications while they are open for comment, which is when neighbours tend to have questions. All of them refresh every morning.

Fireworks displays in NSW and Queensland

The NSW fireworks display register now has a Queensland partner. The QLD register is built from the upcoming displays list that Resources Safety and Health Queensland publishes.

Operators can find their own display and print notices for the homes around the firing site. Residents can see what is coming before the dog starts pacing. As December gets closer, the New Year’s Eve list for NSW fills up too.

An API and MCP server for Business and Agency plans

Some customers send notices every week from a job system or a CRM. The Business and Agency plans now include a REST API for them. With a key you can build a list from an address and a radius, download the CSV and labels, create a notification report, and search the same DA, CDC and fireworks data behind the registers.

There is also an MCP server, so an AI assistant like Claude can do the same work. Ask it for the CDCs approved near a site this week, or the 20 m list for an address, and it calls NoticeRadius for you. A list built this way counts against your plan just like one built on the website.

The API and MCP guide has the endpoints and the setup steps.

What is next

Daily job alerts by email are on the way, so new applications in the areas you work will come to you rather than the other way round. If there is a state or a data source you would like us to add, let us know.
